Sahibabad is the name for a group of industrial, residential and commercial areas within the jurisdiction of Ghaziabad District of Uttar Pradesh, India. It touches the borders of Delhi, Noida, and main city of Ghaziabad and constitutes a part of the Delhi National Capital Region.
Delhi Metro
Sahibabad lies at a zone where East of Delhi as well as Noida are well connected by road, this boon has somehow been of limited benefit to the commuters in terms of accessing the new age MRTS (Mass Rapid Transit System) Delhi Metro. Currently this metro line is under construction and the work is estimated to finish by year 2016) to begin their journey for the Delhi Metro. Further, two brand new stations within Sahibabad have opened namely at Kaushambi and Vaishali.
