Saifabad Palace is a palace belonging to the Nizams of Hyderabad state. It is now known as Andhra Pradesh Secretariat's G Block.
History
Saifabad Palace was built in 1888 during the reign of sixth Nizam of Hyderabad, Mahbub Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VI. It was used as an office during the time and was also used as Prime Minister of Hyderabad's office.
Controversy
It was planned to demolish the palace and build a bigger office in its palace but the plan was shelved after opposition from the people.[1]
