Sallie Updyke Mundy is a judge of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.[3] She was elected in 2009[2] and began her term in January 2010.[4]

She was born in Elmira, New York and was raised in Tioga, Pennsylvania.[3]

In 1984, she graduated from Washington & Jefferson College.[3][5]

In 1987, she graduated from University of Pittsburgh School of Law.[3]

After law school she served in a judicial clerkship for the Tioga County Courts of Common Pleas.[3] In 1988, she entered private practice, working as a defense attorney in the field of medical malpractice.[3]

She is part-owner of a small cattle farm, raising Scottish Highland cattle, in Tioga County.[1]
