Sam Woods (civil servant)

Sam Woods is a British civil servant. In July 2016, he will become the deputy governor of the Bank of England, and head of the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA), which oversees the UK banking sector.[1][2][3] He will succeed Andrew Bailey as head of the PRA, who becomes the head of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
