Saman Rashid (born March 11, 1986) is an International field hockey player. She is the leading goalkeeper of the Pakistan women's national field hockey team. Saman has received various Best Goalkeeper awards in many National and International tournaments. She represents Pakistan Wapda domestically. Her famous matches were the final of National Games in Karachi when she was representing Railway. She led her team to a victory on penalty strokes against the champions Wapda, saving all at the crucial time. Later in the same year while playing for her current team Wapda, she led her team to victory via penalty stokes in December for the National Championship. She works as a freelance copywriter and regularly contributes to numerous copywriting and pet blogs.
