Samma (tribe)
Not to be confused with Sama-Bajau peoples, an unrelated ethnic groups in the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Samma are a Rajput clan. Samma rulers of Sindh were of this tribe. All Samma tribes are given a common name Sammat. Jadeja is also a sub-caste of Samma. Samma ruled Sindh, Panjab and Baluchistan. Firishta mentioned two groups of zamindars in Sindh namely Sumra ana Samma or Satna.[1] Chudasama are an offshoot of Samma tribe.[2]
