Samrajyam (English: The Empire) is a 1990 Indian Malayalam gangster film directed by Jomon. It centers on the story of Alexander (Mammootty), a powerful underworld don.

A sequel to Samrajyam is announced under the title would be Samrajyam II: Son of Alexander with Tamil director Perarasu directing the movie.[1]

Box office

The film was a blockbuster and ran over 200 days in Kerala and 100 days in Tamil Nadu and 365 days in Andhra.[2][3]
