San Joaquin Valley Library System
The San Joaquin Valley Library System is an organization composed of several other groups of libraries. The San Joaquin Valley Library System (SJVLS) is composed of 114 individual libraries including:
- the Fresno County Library
- the Kern County Library
- the Kings County Library.
- the Merced County Library - which joined in 2009
The San Joaquin Valley Library System-SJVLS does not provide direct support to the public, a staff member for one of the Counties the SJVLS serves must refer a question. Two of the SJVLS members turned 100 this year, Fresno County Library and Merced County Library.[1]
SJVLS headquarters is co-located with the Fresno County Library in downtown Fresno. From there Network Engineers support the network that interconnects all the branches in the system.
