Sana Zulfiqar (Urdu: ثناء ظلفقار) is a famous Pakistani singer. She is famously known for singing playbacks for Films like Yeh Jawani Phir Nahi Aani & Halla Gulla and she has also sung with Ustaad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in 2 songs. Sana sung for Pakistani Television Industry, hails from a non-musical background she trained herself as a singer. She is now one of the leading singers from Pakistan.
Personal life
Zulfiqar was born as Sana Zulfiqar to a Muslim family in Lahore, Pakistan. Sana Zulfiqar has been singing professionally for three years. Sana has sung as a playback singer for many famous drama serials for various TV channels and has performed on several morning shows, including Geo's Utho Jago Geo.
Pakistan Idol
Sana auditioned for Pakistan Idol in Lahore auditions and got Golden ticket to Karachi. In Theater rounds her voice got hoarseness but she perform well and moved to next rounds. She is currently a finalist among the top 13. She has been heavily praised by judges and the audience.[1]
Music Video
Sana Zulfiqar has recorded a music video together with another rising singer of country Qasim Dahir. Music Video Meri Rooh received positive response and got acclaim, Sana voice praised positively by critics and audience. Video is directed by Hassan Abbar Rai while lyrics are penned down by Qasim Dahir and his brother Xafar Dahir.[2]
