Guru Sanchita Bhattacharya or Sanchita Bhattacharya is an Indian dancer who focusses on Odissi Dancing.[1]

Career and personal life

Sanchita is an Indian Classical Dancer, especially Odissi dance.[2][3] She is Rewarded as Cultural Ambassador of India.[4] This reward was given by Senator John G Pappageorge.[5] She is the wife of renowned Indian Classical Musician Tarun Bhattacharya.[6]

She as performed concerts in, around India and also abroad. She toured to US for charity funds.[7] Sanchita is perhaps the only Indian classical dancer to have given a solo performance at Madison Square Garden in New York, one of the largest auditoriums in the world. She has also performed for the under privileged and for children.[8] She has been featured for a movie in USA and its shooting is in progress.[9]
