Sand Dollars (Spanish: Dólares de Arena) is a 2014 Dominican drama film directed by Laura Amelia Guzmán and Israel Cárdenas. It was selected to be screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival.[1] The film was selected as the Dominican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards but it was not nominated.[2][3]
