Sandeep Garg [1] is an Indian business man and serial-entrepreneur. He is one of India’s mining tycoons who invested in exploration of different minerals like Iron, Gold, Bauxite, Copper, Uranium and Manganese across many countries. He has established an integrated steel and power plants in South Africa. In India he is running a metal inspection company. He is founder and CEO of e-commerce company Shopoclick.com

Sandeep Garg & Company

Sandeep Garg & Company[2] is providing a plethora of metal scrap management services like metal scrap inspection and consultancy services[3] including metal scrap testing[4] services for metal scrap and alloy scrap prior to shipment and unloading of the cargo. Scraps are sorted by specialized lab testing. Sandeep Garg & Company is now authorized to provide Chartered Engineer's (CE) Certification, and Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificate (PSI).

Sahara Mining

Initially as scrap merchant, Sandeep Garg imported scrap from Gambia, Senegal and Mali and sold them to steel mills in western India until affordable scrap began to run out. Later on he applied for exploration licensees. He has invested over $300 million[5] in some of the richest iron ore deposits in West Africa. Sahara Mining’s iron ore exploration thrives on the licensed ownership of 3,000 square kilometers of South West Mali region yielding iron[6] ore deposits of more than 500 Million tons. Only in the first two years of its operation, Sahara Mining[7] emerged as the biggest iron ore exporter from Republic of Mali. Apart from the two iron ore deposits in Mali,[8] he has four other licenses at different stages for minerals like gold,[9] bauxite, copper and manganese. Sahara Mining also obtained Uranium[10] licenses in South America.

Sandeep Energy and Steel SA

The Sandeep Energy and Steel SA[11] is a subsidiary of Sahara Mining Limited which intends to set up an integrated steel and power plant[12] in Manabougou Rural commune of Tienfala. Sandeep Energy and Steel SA is a project of setting up an integrated steel plant[13] which will aim for the production of steel products. The project site is located at Manabougou in the rural commune of Tienfala Region of Koulikoro Mali at approximately 35 km from Bamako on the main road RN5 Bamako –Koulikoro. Currently the company has three running projects in West Africa.

Shopoclick.com

Sandeep Garg, ventured into rapidly growing e-commerce business in 2015. He founded Shopoclick.com and currently heads as CEO.[14] Shopoclick.com is a multi-vendor online market place which deals in books, movies, music, games, mobiles, cameras, computers, healthcare and personal products,[15] home appliances and electronics,[16] stationery, perfumes, toys, apparels, shoes and may more.
