SanderMan is a SaaS vendor focused on Human Asset Management, founded by Sandeep Sander in Denmark in 1989.[6] It is now headquartered in Singapore with shared offices in Silicon Valley, New York, Zurich, Jakarta and Copenhagen. It services organizations worldwide, as an alternative to HRIS modules from ERP vendors like SAP and Oracle and solutions from Workday and Cornerstone. In 2014-15 it was valued above $7 million.

Early history

It was originally founded by Sandeep Sander in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1989. Among the first clients for strategy and management development services were Egmont publishing , the East Asiatic Company, Canon and Credit Suisse. SanderMan has worked in 42 countries. It is now headquartered in Singapore.

SanderMan has always worked closely with Business Schools and Professors. Among the persons contributing important concepts were the late Sumantra Ghoshal.[7] Now it sells software and services using the SaaS model.

In 2013 Professor John Quelch, Harvard Business School and others became shareholders.

In 2014 announced a partnership with INSEAD Emerging Markets Institute and INSEADs Alumni Association, including a Global Tour. Professor Serguei Netessine and others are presenting ideas for Business Model Innovation and Competence Implications.

In 2014 SanderMan became advisor to “The Consortium for Global Talent”,[8] a group of companies with 750,000+ employees.

In 2015 the group of shareholders was extended with Y Digital, a company from Jakarta, Indonesia and SanderMan announced shared offices in Silicon Valley, New York, Zurich, Jakarta and Copenhagen.

In 2015 Sandeep Sander, CEO of SanderMan was invited to join “Innovation for Jobs” (i4J),[9] a Think Tank working on how to improve work for 1 billion+ people, co-chaired by Vint Cerf, VP of Google and co-inventor of the internet.

Initial sales of shares

SanderMan sold initially shares at $200K for 5% in 2013 – and already in early 2015 the price has increased to 300K USD for 5%, valuing the company above 7 million USD. By end of 2015, the next round of funding is expected to indicate a significant further increase.

Products and services

SanderMan has planned to release SanderMan 4.0 on 19 August 2015. Releases of major updates are planned for every 6 months. Rather than selling software, the company offers subscriptions.
