Sandvikens AIK (commonly known as SAIK) is the bandy department of Sandvikens AIK and is based at Göransson Arena in Sandviken. They play in a black outfit.[1]
History
Sandvikens AIK was founded on 16 March 1901.[2] Originally named IK Stjärnan, they were the home for the white-collar workers, while IK Kronan (later Sandvikens IF) was the home for blue-collar workers.[1]
Sandvikens AIK took up bandy in 1922 and took their first Swedish title in 1945.[3]
