Sandwa (Devanagari: सांडवा) is a town in Churu district in the Shekhawati region of Indian state of Rajasthan. Sandwa is situated on Jaipur-Bikaner Highway (SR 20). It is 245 km away from the Jaipur, 125 km from Bikaner and 405 km from Delhi. It is known for Best Schools & Colleges and a famous Cattle Fair of Rajasthan . Near Sandwa town is Chhapar, a small beautiful town, which is famous for Black Bucks & Tal Chhapar Sanctuary. Great wrestler Nathmal Pahalwan was from Sandwa.[1][2]

Sandwa village is also known as Education village in near area and it is also a place of religious people, who lived here. People from sandwa, every year, go to "Padh-yatra" to Salasar Balaji, Punarasar Balaji, Baba Ramdev ji Runicha and Baba Hari ram ji maharaj and Pir Baba.

Anand Dadhich (Bahar)son of Hariprasad Dadhich is known for his Hindi poems is basically from Sandwa village, resides in Bangalore, Karnataka state. Few of his poems are published magazines & Hindi newspaper like Dakshin Bharat Rashtramat, Santan Darpan. He writes poems under title "Manjusha" & his blog of poems www.ananddadhich.blogspot.in is popular on social network. He is also energetic social activist & extends his helps on tax matters, helping poor, beautifying earth by plantation, cleaning etc., he is creator of first web portal of Dadhich community in Bangalore called www.karnatakadadhich-parishad.webs.com

In this village, Community harmony is example for the all the city in the Rajasthan State. It is the site of Sandwa Fort.
