Sanjay Singh is a social activist[1] who has campaigned for the rights of street hawkers and Aam Aadmi Party core committee member.
Personal life
Sanjay Singh was born in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He did Diploma in Mining Engineering from Orissa School of Mining Engineering in 1990.
Political career
Singh was among those who were involved in creating the Aam Aadmi Party in 2012.[2][3] He was a Core Committee Member of Team Anna[4] and spoke on behalf of it during the India Against Corruption movement.[5][6][7][8]
He was involved in a movement to clean the Gomti River by Shramdan (labour gift) and participated in a protest against corruption within the Clean Gomati River project by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.[9]
