Sankari is a village of the district Burdwan of West Bengal. There are four Paras in that village. The only high school there is Sankari High School. There are five big and some small pond. Basudeb is the earlier name of sankari village. But now it's called Sankari because there is a temple of Sankari god. Khudkuri is neighbour village. It is 15 km away from district Burdwan.
