The Sixth Man

The Sixth Man is the notorious student section at SFC sporting events, particularly Woman's Volleyball and Men's and Woman's Basketball. It was originally created by the Class of 2001 to support the Women's Basketball Team during the 2000 season, when the girls team won the CIF Championship and played in the State Championship game in Arco Arena. The original members were known to use red, white, and black body paint. In honor of The Sixth Man, SFC placed a Sixth Man sign over the home section in the gym. Cheers are lead throughout the sporting event intending to be loud and cheer on the teams while also deterring the focus of the other team.
