Santanu Das

Dr Santanu Das is an Indian academic and author, best known for his work on the literature of the First World War.

Das was educated at the University of Calcutta and the University of Cambridge.[1] He is a lecturer at King's College London, having previously been a member of the academic staff of Queen Mary University of London and St John's College, Cambridge.[2]

Das is a member of the International Network for the Study of the Great War in Africa,[3] and the leader of a million-Euro project on ‘Cultural exchange in a time of global conflict: Colonials, Neutrals and Belligerents during the First World War (CEGC)’, financed by the Humanities in European Research Area (HERA).[4]
