Sanyutei Encho I (åˆä»£ 三éŠäº 圓æœ(円æœ) Shodai San'yÅ«tei EnchÅ, born Jirokichi Izubuchi (出淵 æ¬¡éƒŽå‰ Izubuchi Jirokichi)) April 1, 1839 – August 11, 1900 was a Japanese author / rakugo performer of the late Edo and early Meiji eras. Notable works include Japanese horror classics, Kaidan botan dÅrÅ (based on Botan DÅrÅ (牡丹ç¯ç± The Peony Lantern), and Kaidan Kasane ga Fuchi (on which many Japanese horror films are based).
