The District of Sarandë (Albanian: Rrethi i Sarandës) was one of the thirty-six districts of Albania, found in southern Albania, in the present-day Vlorë County.

The area of the district is 749 square kilometers. The population of the district was 48,474[1] (2010 estimate). According to the census of January 1993, it was 53,700.

The centre of the district is the city of Sarandë. Other places include Konispol (at the border with Greece), Ksamil (a resort), Çukë, Vrinë and Butrint (an archeological site). The district consisted of the following municipalities:

Alongside ethnic Albanians, there is a large ethnic Greek minority.[2][3]
