Saroj Karki (Nepali: सरोज कार्की | s uh - r oh j ) is a youth activist and the founder of Youth For Blood (YFB), non-profit organizations, in Nepal. His organization works to Provide fresh and safe blood for needy patients.[3]

Early life

Karki was born on 5 March 1992 in the Jhapa District of Nepal, to Gopal Bahadur Karki and Yam Kumari Karki. In his early childhood his family shifted to Biratnagar.He attended Shree Satyanarayan Higher Secondary School for his school education.

Personal life

Karki lives in Biratnagar, Nepal. Karki hates daily-house-works and loved to travel. Karki's keen interest is on ICT & Agriculture. He also enjoy photography.[4]

Education

Karki is perusing his Bachelor degree in Media and Sociology from Tribhuwan University.

Career

Karki started his career in 2010 by working on Education Helpline(EH), Biratnagar as a Computer Desk Officer. While working for EH he founded Youth For Blood and Later in 2011 he left this job to give continuity to newly found initiation. After 3 month he joined 'BiratPath Daily, Local Newspaper as a chief reporter. After one and half year working for Newspaper he realized, he is not giving enough time to Youth For Blood and left his job again. Nowadays he is earning his living by working as mushroom farmer. He also conduct training as a trainer/speaker on Social Work, Volunteerism and Leadership [5]
