Sartodi is small village in Maharashtra. It is located in Thane district in Palghar Taluka. The village was in sleeping conditions for years. Politicians used it for voting but never raised a helping hand. Since 2008 there have been improvements in water supply and transport.
Sartodi is reached by Auto Rikshaw from Saphale railway station on the Western Railway (cost 25 to 30Rs per trip).
Nature: Morning and evening is best time to roam around the village. There are two small hills which give good views of the village and forest area surrounding it on one side. Karwale dam is another notable point about 1 km from the village, and has a small picnic spot, but no restaurants or other facilities around it.
