Savannah McCarthy (born 26 March 1997) is a Irish football defender who plays for the Republic of Ireland and Glasgow City, of the Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL).
Club career
McCarthy played at Listowel Celtic in the early stages of her career. She joined Galway W.F.C. to play in the Women's National League (Ireland). In February 2016 she signed with Glasgow City.[1]
International career
McCarthy represented Ireland at under-17 and under-19 level. She was called up for the match on 26 November 2015 for the Republic of Ireland against Spain, but she did not enter the field.[2] The same happened against the USA on 23 January 2016.[3] At the Cyprus Cup against Austria (2 March 2016) she entered the game at minute 86 earning her first Ireland cap.[4]
