Mysskin launched the production of the film during July 2015, and announced that he would also write the script for the film and play the antagonist. Director Ram and Poorna were signed on to portray the leading roles.[3] Poorna was selected after six heroines, including Priyamani, had refused the opportunity to be a part of the film.[4][5] The actress revealed that she play a hearing-impaired pregnant lady in the film.[6][7] The film is scheduled to release by May/June 2016.[8]
