Saw Nyein Oo (Burmese: စောငြိမ်းဦး, pronounced: [sɔ́ ɲéiɴ ʔú]) was the mother of King Alaungpaya, the founder of the Konbaung Dynasty of Burma (Myanmar). She was awarded the royal title "Maha Dewi" after her second son became king.[1]
