Saw You Drown is a compilation released by Katatonia in 1998, limited to 1500 handnumbered copies. Today it is a true collectors' item and was recently issued on clear/blue wax 10" LP in 1000 hand-numbered copies.
It's a compilation of unreleased songs recorded in the "Sounds of Decay" session, except from "Scarlet Heavens" which is an unreleased track from the "For Funerals to Come..." session. While most of the band's previous efforts included distorted or screamed vocals, Saw You Drown, and all of the band's subsequent releases, feature almost exclusively clean vocals.
This release first shows on the album cover the band's changed & second logo.
