Sayers Classical Academy is named after Dorothy Sayers, whose essay, "The Lost Tools of Learning" has been highly influential in the modern resurgence of classical education.[2] SCA is a classical, Christian school located in Louisville, Kentucky for students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Students of SCA meet together at the school either twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday, for the "two day program") or three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, for the "three day program") for focused classroom instruction. Additionally, each SCA class provides lesson plans to guide students in either three or two additional at-home instructional days during the week, so that both two and three day programs have a total of five instructional days per week.
