Sayesha Saigal (born 12 August 1997)[1] is an Indian film actress who made her debut with a lead female role in the Telugu language romance Akhil: The Power of Jua.[2]

She comes from a family of actors, being the daughter of Sumeet Saigal and Shaheen Banu, and the grandniece of Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar.[3]

Family

Sayesha is the daughter of yesteryear's actress Shaheen Ahmed and actor Sumeet Saigal. Shaheen is the niece of the timeless beauty, Saira Banu and Sumeet is now divorced from Shaheen and has remarried Farha, Tabu's sister. Sumeet (Imaandaar fame) and Shaheen (Maha-Sangram fame), both actors, have been separated for 14 years. Sayesha has been living with her mother in their Bandra house.

Works

She is making her acting debut opposite Akkineni Akhil in the Tollywood movie Akhil: The Power of Jua.[4][5] Its audio was launched at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad by actor Mahesh Babu.[6] and the film hit the theaters on 11 November 2015 with flop reviews.[7]

She will soon be seen opposite Rajneesh Duggal in R Vision India Pvt Ltd's film Udanchoo, directed by Vipin Parasher. The film also stars Prem Chopra and Ashutosh Rana.

She has also been cast opposite Ajay Devgan in the upcoming Bollywood film Shivaay. The movie will be directed by Ajay Devgan and produced by Eros International.[8]
