Scarteen
Scarteen House is situated in Knocklong, Co. Limerick, Ireland. Home of the Ryan family since the 1750s, it is most famous worldwide as being home to one of the best known packs of foxhounds: The Scarteen Hunt (The Black and Tans). Olympian Thady Ryan was from here. Currently the hunt is mastered by Chris Ryan, son of Thady.
