Scarth A.D. 2195
Scarth A.D. 2195 is an British erotic science fiction comic strip created in 1969 [1] by writer Jo Addams and illustrator Luis Roca and originally published in British newspaper The Sun. It was a spin-off from Garth which featured in the Daily Mirror. The creators, Luis Roca (illustrator) and Jo Addams (writer) changed the Scarth comic[2] in 1972 to become Scarth A.D. 2170.[3] Les Lilley is also credited with directing the storylines of Scarth.[4]
Concept
The protagonist in this comic strip was injured deliberately to prevent her entering an intergalactic beauty competition. However, despite the disfiguration, she appeared with jewels over her scars and won the competition, thwarting her enemies.
