Scarthyla vigilans (Maracaibo Basin treefrog) is a species of frog in the Hylidae family. It is found in Colombia, Trinidad, and Venezuela.[2] Its natural habitats are dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, swamps, intermittent freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, pastureland, and ponds.[1]
