Scary Musical is an original musical composed by Leon Parris and written by Jon Smith.
The musical first opened in the Belvoir Players' Theatre, Northern Ireland in 2009, and then returned to Northern Ireland for a run in The Waterfront Hall in January 2010. Both productions were directed by Rob Finlay and choreographed by Katie Chambers.
Scary Musical is a comedy musical set in an American high school. Inspired by the Scary Movie series and the Disney film High School Musical, the plot follows the lives of a mixed bunch of students attempting to mount and perform an end-of-year school musical, only to find that members of staff, cast, and crew are being brutally murdered.
