Ice Challenge

The Ice Challenge is an annual international figure skating competition organized by the Austrian Figure Skating Association and sanctioned by the International Skating Union. It began in 1971 as the Leo-Scheu-Gedächtnislaufen (Leo Scheu Memorial) and was retitled the Ice Challenge in 2008.[1] The event is usually held every autumn in Graz, Austria. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.

In some years, the Ice Challenge's senior events are part of the ISU Challenger Series. It is held in conjunction with the Leo Scheu Memorial which is composed of junior, novice, and lower-level competitions.

In 2011, the ISU designated the Ice Challenge as one of the events at which skaters could achieve a minimum score.[2]
