Scholarly Electronic Text and Image Service
The Scholarly Electronic Text and Image Service (SETIS) is a digital library platform established by the University of Sydney Library in 1996. SETIS has since created the largest XML-based and TEI-encoded digital collection of Australian studies texts.[1] SETIS provides and manages the full-text collections for AustLit: The Australian Literature Resource.[2]
In 2006 SETIS was renamed the Sydney Electronic Text and Image Service to coincide with the founding of the University of Sydney Library's Sydney eScholarship initiative.
