Schultz Site
Schultz Site, also known as Mira Creek Site or 25 Vy 1 is an archaeological site near North Loup, Nebraska. According to a statement of the site's significance:
This is the only excavated village of the Valley focus, an early Plains-Woodland culture. The site suggests a trade or cultural network emanating from the Midwest's Hopewell culture, which linked other groups from the eastern seaboard to the Gulf of Mexico to the northern Rocky Mountains.[2]
It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1964.[2][3]
