Scirpophaga lineata is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Butler in 1879.[1] It is found in China (Jiangxi, Hainan, Yunnan), Japan, India, Malaysia and Indonesia.[2]
The wingspan is 18–23 mm for males and 22–26 mm for females. The forewings are white, the interspaces of the veins suffused with brown and with a brown band from the apex to the middle of the ventral margin, as well as a dark fuscous spot at the lower angle of the cell. The hindwings are white. Females have a white anal tuft.[3]
The larvae feed on Oryza sativa.[4]
