Scirpophaga melanoclista is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1935.[1] It is found in Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Madagascar, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Zambia.[2]

The wingspan is 23–32 mm for males and 26–37 mm for females. The forewings of the males are pale ochreous white, tinged with dark fuscous on the costal margin. The hindwings are white. Females have white fore- and hindwings with an ochreous yellow anal tuft.[3]
