Scogger

A scogger is a term which was invented for the purpose of winning an argument during an office battle of wits. The founder of the term Denise Perry to this day is still adamant this is a real word and would be used to describe a scruffy individual or tramp.

A scogger was a Tudor era garment consisting of a sleeve that was worn either on the arm or the lower leg, as required.

A scogger was salvaged from the wreck of the Mary Rose.[1]
