Scott Gibson (born 26 August 1984) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. He is currently without a club.
Career
Youth and college
Born in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Gibson grew up in Redcar, where he attended Huntcliff Secondary School. He briefly attended Glasgow University in Scotland while playing with the youth academy of English Premier League side Middlesbrough. He moved to the United States to attend Duquesne University in 2004.
Professional
Gibson turned professional with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the USL Second Division in 2008, making his professional debut on 7 June 2008 in a 5–3 away defeat to the Wilmington Hammerheads.[1]
