Scott Tunbridge (born 26 June 1982 in Adelaide, Australia) is an Australian footballer currently playing for North Eastern MetroStars.

Career

Tunbridge began his career at Adelaide City where he scored 11 goals in 28 games in his first professional season. He also received the young player of the year for his first season and then went on to score 16 goals in the next two years for Adelaide City, receiving top goalscorer for each year. After three years, he moved on to South Melbourne before signing for Hamilton Academical in Scotland, where he spent three seasons, scoring 13 goals in 67 games before injuring his knee.

For 2007–08, fit and ready, he returned to Australia where he joined the Newcastle Jets in the Hyundai A-League. However, after just one season in which he made just 5 appearances (including 2 as a substitute) and 1 goal he was released on 1 April 2008.

MetroStars

Upon returning to Adelaide, he joined FFSA Super League outfit North Eastern MetroStars. With the MetroStars, he kick-started their 2008–09 season. Playing for MetroStars, he helped them finish second in the Super League on 34 points, 3 behind leaders City, scoring 20 goals in 21 games. While playing for MetroStars in 2008–09, they made it to the 2008 Devine Homes Final 5 Series Super League Final but went down to Adelaide City, 2–0. Tunbridge was selected for this final and played.

Tunbridge was part of the 2009 Super League title team for MetroStars. In 2012, Tunbridge played 15 matches in an injury ridden season, with the club winnin the League and Cup double. In 2013, Tunbridge signed a contract extension with the club, and became the eighth player to play over 100 matches for MetroStars.

In 2015, Tunbridge became the club's all time leading goal scorer.

South Australia

He was also selected for the South Australian State Team for their only game against W.A. which they won 3–0. He played the full game.
