Scottish Morning Roll
The Scottish Morning Roll, or Morton Roll[1] (a generic trademark), is a bread roll popular is Scotland. Variations include the Well Fired Roll[2] which has been cooked longer to give it a crisp black top.

Purchase Locations
Scottish Morning Rolls are not traditionally purchased from a supermarkets, rather they are purchased from Bakeries, Newsagent's, Corner shops, Butchers shops, and Fish and chip shops. Recently however, supermarkets such as the Scotmid have made deals with local bakeries[4] to provide the rolls in-store.
