Scutiger boulengeri (common names: Boulenger's lazy toad, Boulenger's high altitude toad, and others) is a species of toad found in Nepal, India (Sikkim[2]) and western China (Sichuan, Yunnan, Gansu, Qinghai, and Tibet).[3] It is an alpine species living near streams and lakes in grassland habitats. It is a common species but it is potentially threatened by diversion of water for agriculture, pollution from agrochemicals, and overgrazing.[1]

Male Scutiger boulengeri measure about 53 mm (2.1 in) in snout–vent length and females about 62 mm (2.4 in). Tadpoles are about 60 mm (2.4 in) in length.[4]
