Seán Óg Sheehy (born 24 May 1939) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played as a left wing-back for the Kerry senior team.[1][2]
Sheehy made his first appearance for the team during the 1962 championship and was a regular member of the starting fifteen for just two seasons. During that time he has won one All-Ireland winners' medal, two Leinster winners' medals and one National Football League winners' medal. In 1962 Sheehy captained the team to the All-Ireland title.
At club level Sheehy won five consecutive county club championship winners' medals with John Mitchels.
Sheehy's brothers Niall and Paudie also played with Kerry while his father, John Joe Sheehy, also captained Kerry to All-Ireland glory.
