Sean Rafferty

Sean Rafferty is a Belfast-born Northern Irish broadcaster now best known for his work on BBC Radio 3.
A graduate in Law of Queen's University, Belfast,[1] Rafferty's original career was as an accountant. Meeting the head of BBC Northern Ireland at a conference led to him working as a researcher for the BBC in the province.[2] He was a regular presenter of Scene Around Six, the local television news programme, and Rafferty, the first chat show on BBC Northern Ireland.
Since 1997 Rafferty has been the regular presenter of In Tune,[3] Radio 3's weekday evening programme, currently broadcast from 4.30 to 6.30pm, and has announced concert broadcasts on the classical music network.
