Sean Taylor (singer-songwriter)
Sean Taylor (born 29 December 1983) is a singer-songwriter from Kilburn, north-west London.
Biography
He has released six albums.[1]
His fourth album Walk With Me was co-produced by Trevor Hutchinson (The Waterboys, Eric Bibb & Sharon Shannon). The album was recorded and featured musicians such BJ Cole (Elton John, Sting and Elvis Costello) and Vyvienne Long (Damien Rice).
Sean Taylor has toured throughout the UK and played Glastonbury Festival four times,[2] Cambridge Folk festival, Celtic Connections, Beautiful Days, Beverley Folk, Tolpuddle Martyrs, Chagstock, Secret Garden Party, Summertyne Americana Festival, Rhythms Of The World, Weyfest, St Ives Festival as well as hundreds of other shows in the UK & Europe.[3]
He has played support slots for John Fogerty, the Neville Brothers, George Benson, Tom Paxton, Eric Bibb, June Tabor, Band of Horses, Dick Gaughan and Martin Simpson.
Sean Taylor’s album Love Against Death was recorded in Austin, Texas with acclaimed producer Mark Hallman (Carole King, AniDi Franco & Eliza Gilkyson).[4] The album featured 12 songs including a duet with Eliza Gilkyson. Love Against Death is a very political album dedicated in Taylor’s words to the 99% and "a direct challenge to a world where we are judged by what we consume rather than what we contribute".
