Seldiren is a village in Samandağı district of Hatay Province, Turkey. It is in the forests of Nur (Amanus) Mountains at 36°14′N 35°59′E / 36.233°N 35.983°E. Distance to Samandağ is about 20 kilometres (12 mi). The population of the village was 512 [1] as of 2012. The village was founded in the early 1800s by people from north of Hatay Province. The main economic activity is agriculture and forestry.[2]
