Sergey Malyutin

Sergey Vasilyevich Malyutin (Russian: Серге́й Васильевич Малютин) (1859–1937) was a Russian painter, architect and stage designer. He is credited with designing and painting the first Russian matryoshka doll (carved by craftsman Vasily Zvyozdochkin) in 1890.
