Seth Eugene Christian (born August 8, 1976) is an American film director, writer and cinematographer. His work includes award-winning short films Discover Kasper (2013), Salvation Jane (2014) and Sticks (2015).[1]

Early life and education

Christian grew up in Seward and Lincoln, Nebraska. He moved from Omaha, Nebraska to Nashville, Tennessee in 2001, where he started the rock band Ready Empire as song writer, guitarist and lead vocalist. He has also performed as a solo musician.

In 2006, he graduated from the Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications. He studied 3D animation and photography.

Career

Christian has won Best Drama from Los Angeles' Pasadena International Film Festival for Discover Kasper as well as Best Director, Best Short Film and Director's Choice Award from the Red Dirt International Film Festival, as well as Best Thriller for Sticks. Audience Choice Award for Sticks at the Highland Park Independent Film Festival and nominated for Best Short Film at the London Digital Film Festival.

Seth has also produced various projects including The Last Jar, Epic Fail series, commercials, corporate promos, music videos (writer, director, producer), as well as photography, voice-overs and graphic designs.
