Shahid Khan is a Pakistani film actor and producer[1] and has been described as a "superstar" of Pashto cinema.[2][3] Khan has been the main actor in the Pashto[4] Film Industry of Pakistan.[5]
Film career
Shahid Khan[6] has been acting in the Peshawar Film Industry of Pakistan since 1990's and has contributed to various films of the industry. His brother Arshad Khan[7] and him, produce and direct Pashto films as well. Khan has contributed to the Pashto film industry, headquartered in Peshawar, Pakistan.[8]
Revival of Pashto Film Industry

Khan[9] has been part of the revival of the Pashto Film Industry in Pakistan and has continued to be the most famous actor in Peshawar,[10] Pakistan. Khan[11] has also been known to carry the message of the Pashto Industry to different parts of Pakistan.
Controversies
Khan was going to shoot in the Hazara District for an upcoming film of his when the government but restrictions on shooting in the Hazara District are. Khan was upset with the government for doing so and released a statement that there are a handful of film makers left in the industry and hence the government[12] should support the film makers rather than put sanctions on them.
